Does Carnival show PPV fights

I was wondering if Carnival shows any PPV fight like UFC?

 

 

I will be on a cruise when there is a UFC fight that I would like to see however it will be PPV.

No PPV fights, I'm not even sure if they would show any of the fights PPV or not. I spent a lot of time in the sports bar last cruise and did not recall seeing any fights.

I highly doubt they would pay the astronomical fees that would be required for them to show a ppv event. Bars, restaurants, hotels, etc have to pay a lot more for ppv than we do at home.

On Carnival, you're lucky to be able to watch "local channels" much less PPV (satellite tends to fade in and out). Plan on simpler forms of entertainment that don't rely on modern technology. You'll be mostly unplugged while on your Carnival cruise, but no doubt you'll find other ways to have fun. :-)

On Carnival, you are extremely lucky to be able to watch any American sporting events. If they were to pay for a PPV fight, they would have to pay a small fortune for the rights to show it.

And we also cruise in January every year and the NFL games always seem to fade in and out.

I've seen NFL, college football, MLB, NBA, but not UFC. And there's no way they'd shell out the big bucks for pay per view. Bars spend that money to bring people in. Carnival doesn't have to.

Can the PPV fight be watched after the fact, maybe even free? You are so unplugged while cruising it's very unlikely you will know the results unless you go looking for them.

I work in a business that deals with commercial accounts when it comes to PPV events. The cost and process for someone like Carnival to be able to broadcast these types of events would be unreal.

I always get premium and I never have been able to stream live video. After a few seconds it freezes and I just have audio.

They don't do PPV on the ships because they would have to pay per person and the fees would be outrageous.
