Breakaway less populated areas?

Will be on Breakaway 23 days next year. The first half will be port intensive and last, lots of sea days. We usually cruise much smaller ships and not used to reservations for entertainment etc. Are there areas we can just pop in for music without reservations? Also are there any quieter out of the way places during the day? What are some hidden gems you've found on the Breakaway?

I don't know about all the hidden gems but I also don't think you have to reserve or book all the entertainment. Just some of it.

ten steps away from shakers there is a sitting area that no one was ever using. Also on the sun decks not near the pool their were plenty of seats. If you can plan the $$, spa passes give you a nice quiet area, with regular lounge chairs and the "coveted" hot tile loungers, along with the therapy pools and saunas,

See another active thread about the entertainment on Breakaway. There aren't many areas with live entertainment. The Atrium, and Shakers, and the pool.... Fat Cats, Howl at the Moon. As a result they get crowded when there is entertainment. I find the poor deck layout to be a disadvantage for the pool band.. so few can really directly enjoy it or applaud in appreciation.

Sorry, but if I tell you some of the "hidden gems," they won't be hidden anymore:)

Forward atrium lobby is often busy with something go on, but, you can sometimes find a comfortable chair to sit back & relax, listen to live music ... as your views might be blocked ... at the Internet Cafe, starboard side. Optional - a pair of noise-reduction or noise-isolating earbuds.

In between meal services, those comfortable soda & armchairs outside the corridor at Taste & Savor, Deck 6 AFT is usually not occupied.

Library is way too small but quiet ... forget the Game Room as it was loud with vocal pax in there playing mahjong on our most recent BA cruise. Deck 16 AFT, you can usually find unclaimed loungers in the shade ... unwanted as the worshippers are going for the "bake & roast" actions only.
