Which Cruise Azura A733 or Britannia B731??

Hi All

 

Thinking of booking our 1st Cruise for my wife’s 30th Birthday. Looking at P&O Caribbean Cruises at the end of November this year

 

Our options are the Azura A733 or Britannia B731 and there is about £400 difference the latter being more based on an outside balcony room

 

What would you recommend and why

I should go for Azura as sitting on a bigger balcony having a quiet drink is going to be likely in the Caribbean. Britannia has significantly smaller balconies.

Hi...I haven't been on Britannia but I would go for Azura....reasons being

 

If you get a standard balcony cabin on C deck on the Azura the balconies are huge....double the size of other standard balconies.

I love having the option of having a proper promenade deck to either walk on or relax on in the shade...wouldn't fancy being on top deck as the only option for outdoor space....apart from your own balcony... with all "the world & his wife" as it is on Britannia.

 

We have just come off the Azura and it was wonderful ....and I can say that having cruised many times with many different cruise companies

Have a good search around the TA it seems that the prices for cruises at that time of the year have greatly reduced,we received leaflets in today advertising our Azura Cruise 2/12/17 which we are booked on have been greatly reduced in price.

If the itinerary is similar, I'd go for Britannia if I were a mere 30 again. More to do in the evenings and a more contemporary feel to the ship.
