I was sure I had read in the most recent Captain's Circle magazine (received about 3 weeks ago) that Princess was giving all (returning) Captain's Circle members these coupon books.

Unfort., I tossed the magazine. Does anyone else recall reading that?

Just read in theSummer 2004 Princess Captain's Circle Magazine.

"Your Passport to Savings"

Our Boutiques onboard are second to none for choice and gift selection. From fine jewelry, cosmetics and perfumes to liquor, Princess merchandise and more, our tax-and duty free boutiques are an incredible value. And now, with our new "Passport to Savings" program, you stand to save even more with promotinal discounts throughout your voyage!

Upon boarding, you will receive a "Passport to Savings" folder filled with valuable coupons. We invite you to present these coupons for great savings as you shop the boutiques. Each time you redeem a coupon you will be entered into a drawing held at the end of your voyage to be reimbursed for your purchase.

I hope this helps.

I had a coupon book which said "Compliments of Cruise Planners" which is my TA.

There was also a small Princess folder (Passport of Savings) in my cabin (or in my box) with some fliers for some specials - the one I remember was a discount off of Swarovski Crystal and if you used it, you were registered in a drawing. I can't remember the others but I didn't use any of them.

THey were definitely 2 different things.

Hi Amazingrace!

Coral (Theresa) is right, the coupon book you're after is a travel agency promotion tool. Usually you have to book within a certain time frame, and the booklet is placed in your cabin awaiting your arrival. The promotions vary from time to time, but the current one may have coupons such as 'Second 15 minutes of Internet usage free at the Internet Cafe', '$5 bonus bet match play at Princess Casino', $ off coupons at the boutiques, photo coupons, etc.

Since there seems to be somewhat of a demand for these coupon books, maybe there should be a sticky for this at the top of the boards - "Recycle your coupon books here!" ;)
