HAL Ship at Port Canaveral Saturday???

There is a HAL ship in Port Canaveral today, Saturday, October 21. She has been there pretty much all day. Highly unusual. Anyone have any idea why she's there? I could not see the name of the ship.

 

I have not looked, but it may just be part of some itinerary or the other, but I was surprised to see her there.

It's the Zuiderdam on her annual repo from Quebec City to FLL.

BTW, for anybody who goes to www.portcanaveralwebcam.com right now to see the Z, that's not her in the shot. That's the Disney Fantasy to the left of the Carnival Magic, and the Z is off-camera, docked along the inlet.

Update: The Magic has gone, the Fantasy is leaving, but the Z is not scheduled to leave until 19:00

Zuiderdam is heading for retrofit/ upgrading and her next passenger carrying cruise is departing 5 Nov..... I can hardly wait...Ive never been on one right after drydock before.

We live about 2 hours from Port Canaveral, so we drove up to see Zuiderdam in the flesh (so to speak) and have lunch at Grills. The drive was easy, and the ship was tied up at the terminal closest to Grills, so we got a good look at her, and had a great fish taco to boot! We're cruising on her 15 November to the Panama Canal and points south and wanted to give them one cruise after the drydock/refit to finish the work before we actually cruise.

 

Got a couple photos, and had a good day by the water.
