Debark excursions to the airport

Has anyone done one of the ship excursions on debarkation? We will be debarking in Miami but fly out of Fort Lauderdale on a 5:30 pm flight. We are considering one of the excursions since part of the cost is transportation to the Fort Lauderdale airport. What do they do with the luggage? And which excursion you did and if you would do it again?

Luggage is on the bus you are taking.

luggage stays on the bus while you are on your excursion. any excursion you find interesting will be fine.

 

First timer? Do the Everglades tour.

Bus will get you back to FLL about 3PM.

 

ADVISORY:

Bus driver doesn't give a damn about who takes what luggage when he gets to the airport. He just starts unloading whatever people say to unload at each airline stop. YOU need to make sure you get ALL your luggage at YOUR airline stop.

As mentioned your luggage will be stored in the luggage compartment on the bus.

It was not on Carnival, but one of our best ever cruise line provided excursions was a cruise line debarkation excursion. It was with Princess from Dover to Heathrow airport in London.

We had a late flight from FLL after a cruise out of POM. We did the South beach tour. There was a narrated tour on the drive to the drop off location. Our luggage stayed on the bus when we were dropped off for "free time" and given a meeting place/time. We did find some great Cuban food for lunch, but I probably wouldn't do that tour again. Only because been there done that, and not that it was a bad tour. It was a good way to spend the hours before our flight.

We booked an Everglades tour, we get off Vista in Miami and we fly from FLL at 6pm. We cruise in February, so I'm excited to see how the excursion and transfer work!

the times we went out of NY and San Diego I would have loved to visit the retired Navy ship ported close by but never could because of the luggage.
