Motion sickness~~~~

We will be sailing next week on the Oosterdam out of Fort Lauderdale. I do plan on taking some Motion sickness medicine with ~ can we get some from the ship if we run out? On the water for 2 weeks ~ husband is concerned 😟

why not buy more now if it is a concern?

 

Are you using an over the counter or a prescription?

 

If you need a refill of a prescription there are issues .... do they HAVE what you Dr prescribed and are YOU prepared to pay the price the ship will charge????? You can't even count on their having the same 'over the counter'

Sometimes yes but sometimes no particularly if a lot of people need it.

 

I would bring more so you don't have to worry.

Might be able to get some on board but will it be the same as what you're bringing- maybe yes maybe No. Personally have had issues with certain brands so I bring double the amount of the brand that works best for me just in case. Have heard (no personal experience) horror stories of taking different brands from one day to the next, the combination of the different drugs made things worse.

We've always been able to get Sea Calm (meclazine) at the front desk on HAL ships.
