Late dinner and shows....

We sail on Sunday on the Liberty. We have booked late dinner. My sister just got off the ship yesterday and thinks we are going to miss the shows because of late dinner. My mom is 80 and that is the reason we are going. She LOVES the shows. Anyone ever had late dinner on the Liberty and had issues getting to the shows? This is the 4 night sailing and my sister was on the 3 nighter.

There should usually be two shows, just like there are two set dining time. Early dining would go to the late show. Late dining would go to the early show. An exception I've noticed is the first night, where there has been, on our last few cruises, just one show time.

I can see how someone might think this only looking at the schedule on the hub app. Our last cruise was the first time I've had a chance to use the hub app. One of the things I noticed is our schedule only showed one of the show. I'm guessing it depends on what dinning option you booked. I curious to hear what someone with anytime dinning people see, I'm guessing both.

Thanks for the responses.... we have always had late dinner until the last few cruises and never had any issues, but I've never been super big on the shows, so if I missed it, no big deal. This time it's all about Mom so we are going to all of them....hopefully!

We always book late seating! Never have a problem seeing the shows. Like others have posted they usually have two shows one for early seating and one for late seating! We like late seating so we don’t have to rush to dinner on port days.

Early dining would go to the late show. Late dining would go to the early show. .

Not necessarily - it depends on the ship. For ships using 7:15/9:15 show starts, that would hold true. However for the ships using the 8:15/10:15 show starts, then late dining would have no choice but to go the late show.

OT for anyone who might know, is there any place where it is stated what standard time slots are used for shows on any given ship since it varies?
