skid10 Posted November 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2017 Currently booked with a refundable deposit. Does anyone know how long before final payment we can switch to the lower cost non-refundable deposit? Thanks.

Geldhart Posted November 20, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 20, 2017 If that's the case, I will look into that. I'm booked for HOTS in Sept 2019. That's too far away, and not enough incentive to have booked Non-Refundable, but closer to Final Payment I may look into it, once I know for absolute certain (or as certain as we can ever be) that I am going..... That said, if you make the change to Non-Refundable, I'm assuming the reservation is re-priced to the current pricing in effect when you make the change. Yes, you’re essentially cancelling and starting all over again.

I tend to agree with that, but if so it probably won't be worth it. We are sailing in May, with final payment date in February. I'll call about 6 weeks out and let you know how it goes. Any promos you might have had previously would be lost unless they are still in force when you make the change.
Ken at the beach Posted November 20, 2017 #8 Share Posted November 20, 2017 I believe that in order to get the extra OBC you need to switch 6 months out. Sent from my STH100-1 using Forums mobile app

That could make a difference as well when thinking of switching over to the dark side.
