Do you think the spas on the Vista is worth getting. There is a 20% off discount on spas now. I never get the spas because there so expensive on the ships.

Let me know your opinion.

If yes, which one is your favorite on the cruise?

I love the stone treatments, but it was not on cruise.

Wife and I are doing the Stone/Aroma Therapy for the next cruise. Never had that before. I was able to save over $100 by cancelling the original spa session and rebooking this morning (11/28). The treatment was marked at $231 today (was $289), and then I got the 20%. Went from $289 to $184 for the 2 of us.

Go Noles! (I was born in Tallahassee :) )

Never did stones or aroma but I once won a 30 minute massage on a cruise ship (Not Carnival). The retail prices for massages look pretty high to me but free was right in my comfort zone. I loved the massage - it was the first time I ever had one and it was great so I can see myself doing it again if I get a deal like that (not necessarily free but I'd sure consider reduced rates).

OP, if the price reduction puts the cost into a neighborhood you're willing to pay I'd bet the service is worth it.

I aways book some kind of spa appt. I also enjoy th saunas, steam rooms, showers and hot tubs. We are sailing on the Magic next and they have a Cloud 9 spa. You have to pay for that. We purchased a spa pass with the promo and saved $45. I just love the peacefulness and scents of the spa.

DH uses the Spa more than I do and he has the best luck getting really reduced rates by going to the Spa right after the muster drill. On our Nov. 11th Paradise cruise, he went there for the raffle drawing (didn't win), but was offered the hot stone massage and full body exfoliation (and something else I don't recall right now) for only $119. He had to have it done that evening or the next morning at 8am (he chose the 8am slot). The hot stone massage alone regular price was $199. In general, we have found after 43 cruises on various lines, that waiting until onboard and selecting times for in-port days we get the best prices. After booking, we have received the 30% bundle treatments offer, but they are not what we want.

If you have any joint problems at all the seaweed wrap will eliminate the joint pain for up to 6 weeks. My husband floats back into the room after the wrap and has a very positive noticeable difference in his ability to walk without pain for several weeks. We have yet to find any spa on land remotely close to us that offers these wraps.
