We are booked on our first Back to Back on the Triumph in March. We always park at the Carnivals parking lot at the terminal. Not sure how to go about it with a back to back.

We are lucky we are booked in the same cabin on both sailings but could someone explain the procedure of what happens on the day the second sailing occurs.

We booked our first B2B in April 2019 on the Dream. Long ways out but we have two Splendor cruises in 2018. Can't wait. We will be in NOLA for the French Quarter Fest just prier to the B2B. I'm glad you asked this question as we are excited and curious of how the process goes.

I also did my first (and only) B2B out of New Orleans, but on Carnival Ecstasy. From what I've read on here it seems to vary between ports as well as ships. In my experience they made it really easy

The last night of the first leg I had a letter slipped under my door explaining the process. I had already talked to my cabin steward about being on a back to back to feel more assured I had no need to pack up (I was actually told I had to by two different Carnival employees over the phone but knew that had to be wrong based on what I had read here). The letter said to meet in the Atrium Bar at 9:30am (or 10am?) and all of us doing a back to back would be escorted off the ship, through customs and back on board where we'd get our new Sail and Sign cards. On and off the ship took about 10 minutes. We couldn't get photos for our new cards as the machine wasn't set up yet, that was done later.

Over all, very painless and it is a great feeling being on the ship with so few passengers. There was only one other person doing a back to back with me. :p Enjoy your cruises!
