Rain and Carnival Excursions

I am cruising in a few days. I have two carnival excursions booked. In Freeport, the Kayak through the mangroves tour and in Nassau, the Blue Lagoon Family Beach day. What happens if it rains? Do either of these get cancelled? If they don't actually get cancelled, but I want to cancel, when do I need to cancel them by to get my money back? Seriously considering cancelling Blue Lagoon, as I believe it will be wasted without being able to lay on the beach or play in the Ocean, which is the sole reason I booked it. I was not super excited to do either of them even with sunshine, but wanted to book something through Carnival as it is my first time traveling "abroad" in decades and this time I will be doing it as a single mom with just my son. I'm just not comfortable exploring on my own. But seriously, add in rain to either of them and the fun factor just isn't going to be there.

While it's not in the policy so I wouldn't expect it, we received our money back when we cancelled on the ship because our daughter had to much sun the day before.

I will also tell you I have done the kayaking excursion in Freeport and it was wonderful.

Rain, especially with a "water sport" sort of excursion won't stop it! You'll be wet either way! Only a lightening storm or a tropical storm might stop an excursion.

You can cancel up to 24 hours (or maybe, 48)....it varies.....if you don't want to go.
