Can't wait for some Seaside Yacht Club reviews?

I heard the ratios for butlers (for the 12/23 sailing) in the YC are 1:26 on the Seaside compared to 1:12 on other MSC ships. Wonder if that will change? That can't be very personalized service with a ratio like that.

I saw the same thing! If my count is correct, there are 86 YC cabins, so that works out to only 3 or maybe 4 butlers to cover the entire area. Two per deck? That just can’t work! Especially if they take shifts serving drinks in the lounge and on the pool deck like they do on Divina.

Even with the poor ratio of butlers to cabins most of the reviews of the Yacht club have been good. I'll be able to compare as I am spending the first week in a Fantastica Balcony and the second week in a YC inside. I will write a review. Bob

One of the reasons we'll probably be booking the YC again is the wonderful service we received, from everyone, but especially our butler.

Well one thing is that they won't have to escort you to the dining room in the back of the ship.

Enjoy your cruise!!! My nephew will be on the ship with his fiance as well but not in the YC.

Looking forward to your review and also Bob's. Very nice of you both to take the time to do that!!

Safe cruising and have fun!!!!!

I will also be writing a review of the Yacht Club and the Royal Suite while I'm onboard.

I sail January 6, 2018...six days away!!!
