Picking up where I left off. We are still in San Pedro at the Best Western Plus San Pedro Inn and Suites.

We head down to the included Breakfast.

I make a breakfast sandwich

Susan has bacon and eggs.

We head back up to our room. We make sure we have everything, bags are tagged, and we have documentaion out for the port. At 9:45 am, we request an Uber to take us to the World Cruise Center. The hotel had a shuttle, but it was full and I had heard stories of multiple trips needing to be made before, we just got our own transportation.

The Uber arrives and we load everything in and head to the terminal.

I have stayed at that hotel before and we had to let them know the night before what time we wanted to catch the shuttle. We reserved for 10:00 am and had no issues. They should have asked you the night you checked in. Loving your review. I sail in 46 days on the Star for 9 days. Thanks for taking the time to write this.

I had remembered this menu from when we sailed on the Escape this past June. I remembered it from the Mozzarella Stick Appetizer.

IMG_0267-L.jpg

We both got the Mozzarella stick appetizer. Who only gives you two Mozzarella sticks? Come on Man

IMG_0268-L.jpg

I got the Mixed Green Salad

IMG_0269-L.jpg

Susan got the Prosciutto and Melon appetizer

IMG_0270-L.jpg

I got the Sirloin Steak Diane with Asparagus instead of Brussel Sprouts

IMG_0271-L.jpg

Susan got the Vegetable Pad Thai with the chicken from the Caesar Salad.

IMG_0272-L.jpg

Susan pictured with Marliza, an assistant Maitre D. She was awesome and we constantly saw her. She always went above and beyond. She was our other vacation hero.

Paradis was extremely well done. We enjoyed it thoroughly. After the show Tom came out.

He brought out the production cast. Then We got a short movie of all the different departments of the ship, followed by Tom calling them up to the stage.

After the show ended, we scurried our way to the back of the ship to the Spinnaker Lounge.

We went to see the Prefect Couple Game show.

led by Jefferson

We got selected by the audience to compete

IMG_0310-L.jpg

This is the game where the lady has to move the lemon up one leg, across the front, and down the other leg. I was wearing shorts, so we had to do it 3 times. The others just once, but both of the other guys were wearing tight pants, so we won that challenge.

IMG_0311-L.jpg

The second game the lady is blindfolded and getting the stick in the hole in the toilet paper the guy has between his legs.

IMG_0312-L.jpg

IMG_0313-L.jpg

we did not win this one.

The final game was popping 3 balloons using your body.

We tied for first on this game.

As a result, the audience was asked between us and one of the other couples who had tied us who should win. The audience cheered for us harder. So we won!

Jefferson and us with our swag.

The photographers were still out, so we got a good picture with our winning stuff.

We went down to the Casino and played some. Susan had two dollars left and won $600 Dollars on a slot machine.

After the casino, since we had dinner at around 530pm, we went to O'Sheehans for a late night bite.

My burger and fries.

Afterwards, we headed back to the stateroom. Time Change notification on the bed. We were getting another hour back tonight. Yes!

Here is our towel animal.

We sat on the balcony and watched the waves for a bit. then climbed into bed and let the waves rock us to sleep.

We booked it through NCL. The price was the same through Cabo Adventures independently as through the ship. We were silver on this cruise and got the NCL shore excursions discount as well as the 50 dollar per port perk. We were cheaper through the ship.

I choose this excursion for the fact we could go out and sail, have a lunch, and included drinks. The perk was it was whale season and we had the possibility of seeing the humpbacks.

I would do this again, because there was no real wind and we couldn’t really sail. Cabo Adventures was great, and had excellent customer service.

We hit Cabo last. We had a beach day, a land day, then a sea day. I can’t answer what you should do. I merely am presenting what we did and our thoughts and opinions on it. I would look at the whole trip, deciding what’s important to you and then figure out what is offered in each port.

Thank you for reading!

Thanks for your input. I'll do like you said and go thru and pick all the options at the different ports and decide whether to do a sea excursion or something on land. Hoping we have as much fun as the two of you...

Last June, on the Escape, we got burn’t on our first excursion, the next day we were planning to do the beach again. We just walked around instead of getting in the water.

I set up our excursions to avoid that if we got burnt this time around. Plus the excursions for Mazatlan showed up almost 70 days after Cabo and Puerto Vallarta.

Susan took her mimosa with her as she headed to the spa. i headed back to the stateroom. I looked out the balcony for a while. Then went and played at the Casino for a little. After the Casino, I headed to deck 7 and went around to the back of the ship and took these pictures along the walking path of deck 7.

I then headed to Spinnaker lounge to watch the Cake Making demonstration. What is funny is that on the Sun in 2016, Susan went to the cake making demonstration without me. This year I go without her.
