mo&dave Posted January 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2018 Hi all looking at a transatlantic from Barcelona in November to Florida but was wondering what sort of weather to expect ? Anyone done a similar cruise that could advise Cheers Dave
Rare MicCanberra Posted January 7, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2018 The first few days would be cooler with the temperature getting warmer as head south.
jocap Posted January 9, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2018 WE've done this twice in Jan, but from the Uk, so it's chilly until we reach Madeir, but warmer than the Uk once we're opposite Spain. You will be warmer leaving Barca, and going directly south to Gib, so it shouldn't be too chilly, as you,ll stay south to Madeira.
Vikki P Posted January 9, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2018 I do this last November.. it was cool when we left Barca (maybe 16 or 18 C at the warmest during the day).. it stayed that way through to the Azores, and then seemed to get warmer every day by about a degree (our itinerary was from Azores directly to Canaveral).. I thought it was lovely... others on the cruise who done the previous year said it was much hotter the previous year, when they had come into Florida via the Caribbean (couldn’t this year because of he hurricanes closing the ports)...
