broadwater Posted January 7, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2018 Soon to depart on QM2 to Cape Town and all the shore excirsions are now listed waitlist only. Is it worth going on the list or shall I look for private tours myself? I’m wondering if Cunard will add extra capacity on the tours depending on the waitlist. Many thanks. hihilo Posted January 7, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 7, 2018 Ever single time I've been on a wait list ( on all 3 Q's) I've always received notice that I could be accommodated. Good LUCK! Enjoy your cruise :-)
Rare Windsurfboy Posted January 9, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2018 I live in Cape town. The hop on hop of bus is great for a city tour .t also goes to table mountain. You can walk to Robin island ferry in 5 mins from cruise terminal. Walk to waterfront in 2 mins . Most of this can be booked online. Do it yourself for half the price
