Any recommendations? Thanks! A single? The cheapest is $14.95 on the big bus - https://www.goportcanaveral.com/airport-shuttle/day-of-cruise.php
JohninDC Posted January 10, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 10, 2018 CorTrans and Cocoa Beach shuttle are two additional popular options for hared shuttle service between MCO and PC - fares start at about $20 each way. Flying in the day of the cruise? I would book the earliest flight possible, invest in good travel insurance, and pray for an on-time flight! Clarea Posted January 10, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 10, 2018 Travelynx is another shuttle we've used a few times with good results.
rok233 Posted January 10, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 10, 2018 Cortrans are great! Cocoa Beach Shuttle were horrible! I had over an hour wait outside in the June heat for Cocoa Beach Shuttle. Never again!
50SumthinCruisers Posted January 11, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 11, 2018 Is Uber available from Orlando Hotels to PC? We are coming in the night before and our flight gets in after 4:00 pm. I have not been able to find a shuttle service that takes us to the Cocoa Beach area that late. We are thinking of staying in Orlando and using an Uber, or staying at the hotel at the Airport and take the Bug Bus the next morning to port. Any advise would be well taken. Thanks:)

Thanks:) Yes - fare for UberX, depending upon where your hotel is located, will be about $50-60 Or you could spend the night in Orlando near the airport, use the hotel shuttle to get back to MCO the next morning, and catch your shared shuttle to the port from there. Or you could rent a car one way (MCO to PC/Cocoa Beach), stay where you want, dine and shop where you want, and then drop the car off the morning of your cruise and ride the rental agency's shuttle to the port. Good luck with your planning! ;)

Thanks:) I believe Cocoa Beach Shuttle does late pickups. We always see them delivering airport passengers to the hotel well into the evenings everytime we stay. Have a wonderful cruise... Thanks:) Virtually everybody will pick you at the airport and drop you at the beach hotels until late at night. As long as you are willing to pay their quote it will not be a problem. These are all PRIVATE transports unless you use a hotel shuttle from one of very few hotels that actually do this; in which case they may group some of you together if you are all arriving at about the same time. However, the cheaper SHARED SHUTTLES only run during peak hours mostly on cruise day mornings. I am surprised that you cannot find PRIVATE transport after 4pm, or are you looking for a SHARED SHUTTLE?

I was going to stay in Orlando but then heard about traffic nightmares. Thought it would be great to have the beach feel so I booked the Sheraton 4 Point Hotel in Cocoa Beach. It seems to me that Uber is not that much more expensive and I will not have to worry about the shuttle being full and having to wait for the next one Thanks everyone for all of your help! I think I have found the best option for us:):)
