Ray66 Posted January 26, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2018 Assuming they will both be based in Southampton, they're going to be fighting for places as Cunard also have a new 3,000 pax ship for 2022.

Good thought, Ray...there were problems enough in S'ton when Ventura, Royal Princess and Anthem OTS were in together, and hotels were booked out- we had to go out of the city, and were taken to a car park in a waste land somewhere, which added almost an hour on to our already long drive home. Now that there's always 2 RCI ships in, plus the others, plus the new ones, that problem could be massive in summer. :o
Rare MicCanberra Posted January 28, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 28, 2018 It may also mean that some ports will be dropped due to the size of the ships, meaning repetition of itineraries.
