cb at sea Posted January 29, 2018 #26 Share Posted January 29, 2018 March through the end of May is "spring break"....all states, school districts, school levels, etc..."break" at different times. There is really no difference at all in the spring...unless you're on a 3-4 day cruise...then, you will have a bunch of party people. Take a 7 nighter, and it's no different than ANY cruise, at any time. Lots of families....instead of a bunch of retirees! Most cruise lines have age limits, so you will not have a "frat house" feel to any cruise.
Rare JessyCruises Posted January 29, 2018 #27 Share Posted January 29, 2018 We do not call it Spring Break but here are the dates for Atlantic Canada in 2018 to give you an idea. March Break/Reading week is always the first full week in March for K-12 in New Brunswick. I am not sure if the other provinces change annually. New Brunswick K-12: March 5-9 University: Feb 19-23 or March 5-9 Nova Scotia University: Feb 19-23 K-12: March 12-16 Here is a link that shows the Public School (ie K-12) for all of Canada: https://www.tripsavvy.com/march-break-canada-1482005

Not really, the majority of college spring breaks are mid March, school breaks March - mid April, colleges get out for summer starting early may, schools getting out mid may - late June. May is not a spring break month.
ONECRUISER Posted January 29, 2018 #29 Share Posted January 29, 2018 A lot of schools in the northeast have the third week of February off for presidents week. In the Midwest also, Mid-Winter Break week of US Presidents day...
read52 Posted January 29, 2018 #30 Share Posted January 29, 2018 Catholic and Christian elementary and high schools are out the week after Easter. Public schools are usually out that week or the week before Easter. As someone said, look for the weeks that are higher priced, because that is when schools are out. We have hurricane season but not a rainy season in the US.

Alter Ego Posted January 29, 2018 #32 Share Posted January 29, 2018 I saw a (very long) list of all of the US college spring breaks. Start Feb 17 through April 21 (most in March.)
