FLL to Ft Meyers

Hi,

I will be picking a car up at FLL and heading over to Ft Meyers. I saw the car rental company that I am using charges $10 a day for unlimited tolls. I would like to pay cash on the Interstate 75 portion but my google maps says 595 to the 75 toll portion. I read that 595 is a cashless toll so I would like to avoid. I was thinking Griffin Rd. to north on 75 to the west interchange to the cash tolls. Will this or something similar work so I only have to pay the cash toll- don't mind driving a little longer to save 40- 45 dollars.

It is so easy to just use the toll included system.

You can buy a sunpass and add $10 at a time to it. It'll cost you $20 +10 upfront but you can use it every time you go to Florida. Sunpass.com or at a Walgreens, Publix... So, one time $20 then tolls.

If you put it on the rental car the clock starts ticking the first time you use it and keeps going whether you use it again or not.
