Miami port

Our flight lands at 6 am the morning of our cruise. If we went straight to the port would we have any nearby breakfast options?

There is nothing to eat at the port... Best bet would be to catch a cab or uber to somewhere in downtown Miami, eat breakfast, then catch another cab/uber to the port.

Any suggestions for a breakfast place downtown? It will be a Monday morning.

I don't like flying in the day of the cruise but that is a different story.

 

One option is to take the taxi over to the Intercontinental.

 

They have a lovely breakfast.

 

You could get them to hold the luggage and walk around for a little bit before heading to the port.

Taxi from MIA to IC will be $25-27+

 

Uber will be closer to $15

Whoa! $28 for their buffet breakfast? We're actually staying at the Intercontinental before our cruise (albeit on a comp), but I believe I'll go elsewhere for breakfast.

Looks like Havana Lounge would be a good fit for us. Has anyone had breakfast there? Anyone know the closest hotel to that restaurant where we could check our bags for a few hours?
