Mediterranean cruise, 2019

I am considering a Mediterranean cruise for 2019, looking at Princess and Carnival, maybe others. Does Princess offer educational lectures on the med. ports? I don't think Carnival would. I looked at the Mediterranean board, but it is divided by ports.

I have done several Med cruises on Royal Caribbean and Norwegian. They always had a port talk in theater day prior to arrival. They spoke about the port you were going to and mostly what excursions were being offered. Nothing like having the naturalist onboard for Alaskan cruises

Alaska was fairly port intensive also, but they had talks about the next ports on ship. We enjoyed them.

Alaska in a standard 7 day cruise you have typically have 2 sea days, and the attractions are not 8 hour tours, usually.

In a 7 day Med cruise, you might have one sea day, and many excursions are full day events.
