JohninDC Posted February 4, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2018 Seven is busy. What are you interested in? Lots of beach clubs on Carlisle Bay - about a 20 min walk or a $5 cab ride from the port. Pirates Cove, Boatyard, Harbor Lights, Lobster Alive, etc. Check trip advisor reviews and this board to see which one appeals to you. Many book catamaran/sailing tours that include snorkel stops and a chance to swim with the turtles.

Rare Keith1010 Posted February 5, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 5, 2018 Wow. Sounds like Grand Cayman. I've been there with three ships in port. Beach would be fun. Keith
JohninDC Posted February 5, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 5, 2018 Harbor Lights will be quieter, with no water toys, etc. compared to The Boatyard -- read some reviews and pick one. ;)

loving goldens Posted February 8, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted February 8, 2018 We went to the Harbour Lights and it was perfect in September. See you on board. Thk you we are getting excited.... do you remember how much a cab there and back was... and is cabs there waiting to get back to port???
JohninDC Posted February 8, 2018 #8 Share Posted February 8, 2018 Cab there should be about $5 each and the same fare will get you back. The driver who takes you there will try to schedule a pick up so that he gets your fare both ways - fine if you have an idea of how long you want to stay. If not there will usually be cabs waiting for cruise ship customers in the afternoon or the staff can call one for you. Or walk back - it will take about 20 minutes (maybe more if you've had a few too many beers ;) )
lynncarol Posted February 10, 2018 #9 Share Posted February 10, 2018 I suggest hiring a cab to tour the eastern (Bathsheba) and northeastern (Little Bay and Animal flower garden) area of Barbados. Although the water is too rough to swim, it is an incredibly gorgeous area. I can't imagine spending time on any of the more populated beaches with 7 ships in port.
