Fort Lauderdale Hotel Recommendation for Three Hotels...Possibly Four!

Hi Everyone, I have read many of the hotel reviews and have researched tripadvisor. We have narrowed our search down and would like to get your direct experience with these hotels. We usually stay at Courtyard Fort Lauderdale beach when we cruise out of Port Everglades. This time we do not get in until 4:30 PM on Friday in Miami prior to our cruise on HOS on Saturday. Because of the timing and cost of flying into Miami was significantly less expensive than FLL, we are considering a different hotel for the evening around Port Everglades and FLL. We want a clean room, good beds and possible places to eat either at the hotel or in walking distance and not noisy from road noise or trains. From our research we have narrowed it down to the following: Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale Airport North Cruise Port, Courtyard Fort Lauderdale Airport and Cruise Port and SpringHill Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport and Cruise Port. We also considered Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina but recent reviews seem to show it is not as clean of a hotel. Priceline has a good price on it for our time in Fort Lauderdale, 104.

I would like to know your personal experience is/was when you stayed at any of these.

We're staying at Springhill Suites. We've stayed at Embassy Suites before, but we have to have 3 rooms. There are 6 of us and we are all a bit "whiney" and insist on having our own bed and Springhill Suites is a little cheaper. Both have free shuttle from airport to hotel and free breakfast. Our needs are the same as yours, a clean bed for the night after our plane arrives around 3:30 p.m. We usually just order pizza and salads to be delivered to the hotel and chill out. They have a shuttle for a fee (I think it's $10 each) but we will probably use Uber or a taxi to get to the port. Embassy Suites is great too and they have the happy hour with free drinks for a couple of hours.

We like Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale Airport North Cruise Port (and Embassy Suites). Hampton Inn has a complimentary airport to hotel shuttle (which you don't need), clean and well kept hotel inside and out, nice rooms with comfy beds, complimentary breakfast. Computers and printer. A very short walk to a few fast food restaurants and a Publix super market in case you need something you forgot. Publix also has a limited selection of wine. The hotel contracts with a company that for a charge will take you to Port Everglades. We elect to take a taxi. We are staying there this March and taking SAS down to POM.

Thank you! We will use Lyft or Uber whichever is less expensive from MIA International to hotel and to the port. How was the noise at this hotel, cars and/or train? I saw a few that said the suites are on the highway side and is noisy.
