OliviaJ10 Posted February 24, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2018 Traveling on Anthem out of NJ late March/early April. Starting to plan what to pack. Anyone travel from NJ to Bahamas during this time before? Trying to estimate what the weather will be temperature wise. Jimbo Posted February 24, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2018 This year.............I would say in the 70's, not much snow around here this year. It has snowed before in March / April though. But I wouldn't bet on it this year.....Very mild. Jimbo:)
Rare tennislvr8 Posted February 24, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 24, 2018 We are going Mar. 24. As of right now I will plan on jeans or leggings the first two day and last two days unless I see something dramatically change w the weather. Also, taking a thicker jacket for sail away, I plan on being on the top deck to watch us go under the Verrazanno bridge and I anticipate that to be very cold. OliviaJ10 Posted February 25, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted February 25, 2018 I live in NJ, so I have a ballpark on the weather here. Was more so wondering about Orlando, Coco Kay and Bahamas. Sent from my iPad using Forums

Sent from my iPad using Forums Central Florida will most likely be in the mid 80’s at that time. It is always possible to get a cold front but you should know about that well ahead of time. For the Bahamas it will be normal cruise weather. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
xcell Posted February 25, 2018 #7 Share Posted February 25, 2018 Cold going out, cold coming in ... if you're me and don't mind the cold -- layering up helps... my wife on the other hand will be wearing her winter jacket. Nicer weather when you are in Florida and the Bahamas -- shorts weather.
craig gibbon Posted February 25, 2018 #8 Share Posted February 25, 2018 I’ll be on the boat come 24th March! Flying from Dubai is going to be a tricky one.... especially as I don’t own a winter jacket 🤣 Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Cruisin4ABruisin71 Posted March 24, 2018 #9 Share Posted March 24, 2018 I leave on March 31st for this cruise! Dumb question. For picking eating kids....is there pizza and chicken fingers?
andrew2346 Posted March 24, 2018 #10 Share Posted March 24, 2018 I did late March. Cold embarkation and next day. Cold last day. Typical New York weather first day. Maybe North Carolina weather the second day? BUT..we hung out in the Solarium and indoor pool, seaplex so it was no problem.
robtulipe Posted March 24, 2018 #11 Share Posted March 24, 2018 I leave on March 31st for this cruise! Dumb question. For picking eating kids....is there pizza and chicken fingers? There is pizza available in the Windjammer Marketplace on deck 14 and Sorrentos on deck 4 of the Royal Esplanade. The latter would be the better place for this. I believe chicken fingers are on the children's menu in the MDR.

Cally671 Posted March 25, 2018 #13 Share Posted March 25, 2018 Just got off the Anthem today. FL was in the low 80’s. Same with the Bahamas. Otherwise you will need warmer clothes leaving and coming back. Think about hitting the solarium on the cold days :) The pizza in Sorrentos we didn’t find as appealing as in Windjammers.. that was in our opinion. Have a great cruise!
