Gratuities on Five Night Cruise: Five Times or Six Times?

I did a search but couldn’t find the answer. On a 5 night/6 day cruise, will we get charged gratuities 5 times or 6 times? Just want to be prepared. Thanks in advance!

They charge based on the number of nights.

5 times. While looking at the activity schedules, the cruise will show embarkation day as "Day 1" and debarkation day as "Day 6", but together they add up to less than a full day (significantly less depending on what time you board and how quickly you get off).

The Cruise Compass dailies we have received onboard, which I've saved for the last dozen or so RCI cruises we've done, only go to the last full day onboard.

The last morning or departure day information is simply titled "AS YOU DEPART' and as other have said there are no gratuities charged for that morning only onboard.

Would be great to pay gratuities also for the nice debarkation day, always great service and fun. I trust Royal will look into this with next enhancements to our cruise experience!
