OBC question

Recommended Posts

We are considering booking a cruise while we are on board. The cruise that we would book has a package that includes OBC. Would we also receive the OBC that we would normally get for booking a cruise on board? In other words, would we be able to get the package OBC and the booking OBC or is it one or the other? If it is one or the other, which OBC offer would we get?

Thank you for your help.

Yes you will, I believe both are nonrefundable so you have to use them or lose them. If you get OBC from a TA they are refundable so if you don't use them you would get them back. Unfortunately, I have never not used them all up ;p.

So what can you actually use your OBC for as we both received some through our cruise broker :-)

On Board Credit will/can be used for any stateroom charge (drinks, fee restaurants, gifts, etc ) including the daily Hotel Service Charge that you make when on board the ship.

thanks for that Freestylin.... we are still reasonably new cruisers as we have only done 1 cruise prior to our upcoming one and the first cruise was linked to a land tour we did and we ended up hooked on cruising after that trip which was also on HAL in Alaska.
