Purchased obc

Sorry if this is an already asked and answered question...if we purchase $500 obc for our cruise can we then use it in the casino or withdraw it and use it to pay for private excursions? If we go to the casino cashier to get it from our card will they charge us the 3% fee? We are trying not to have to carry lots of cash onboard and I'm not sure if this will help the situation...thank you!

Why do you want to give NCL 3% of your cash? Just bring it on and keep it in your safe.

 

I only buy Obc for things I pay for on ship.

There's no benefit to purchasing OBC for any purpose other than covering the cost of items you plan to purchase during your cruise. If you use the ship as your bank, you will be charged a fee.
