FSU Girl Posted March 3, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2018 I’m trying to plan a cruise with kids for the first time. I’ve heard that the 3 night cruises can be more party ships. Would it be okay taking two kids on this? Or will it not be kid friendly? It would be everyone’s first carnival cruise and looking at the Liberty ship
Melcoug Posted March 3, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 3, 2018 I've done a 4 day with my kids. It is a different crowd from a 7 day, but it wasn't anything too out of control. I think you'll be fine.

Nevada Jen Posted March 3, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 3, 2018 I did a liberty 4 day with my 12 year old over new years. And it was more than fine. Literally only saw one person noticeably drunk. It was actually super fun. The party atmosphere is perfect for kids. Just seems like everyone is having fun
Princess Ariel Posted March 3, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 3, 2018 We do a 4 nt often. I’ve got 13, 10, 5, and 1.5 year old boys. It’s a great time and we always have a blast. I think it’ll be a good intro to cruising for them.
louanne93 Posted March 3, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 3, 2018 Same here. We started cruising 3 and 4 night cruises when our kids were 6,6,10, and 13. They loved it better than Disneyland!

My only issues with a three day cruise, is that just as you start getting into it, it's over. At least, since it is your first cruise, if you find that it is not something you enjoy, it won't be for very long. Just realized, it may not be your first cruise, just your first Carnival cruise. have a great cruise

I’ve cruised a lot before, just never on carnival and also never with kids before. So it would be a first for both of those things :)
