bobvila Posted March 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2018 Hello All! It will be our first cruise in our life and we choose the 7 days Costa Maya, Harvest Caye, etc. destinations this spring. I started to check several beach excursions and I discovers that some beach resort, don't have rental locker. If you are a couple, can you tell how we secure money, ID cruise card, etc if both of us goes to swim? Thanks,

Rare BostonGal35 Posted March 6, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 6, 2018 we bury everything at the bottom of our backpack and just keep and eye on it from the water. we did have a towel, of all things, stolen once. that was annoying. it happened at Virgin Gorda when we walked thru the caves. if you go to the water park in Costa Maya, they have lockers. its a great place, also has ziplines all included in the price. BoatParts Posted March 6, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 6, 2018 We use a locking bag that can attach to a beach chair. Gives at least some sense of security. Also agree with just keeping an eye on things. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
travelhound Posted March 6, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 6, 2018 You can get a cheap waterproof bag/box that is just big enough for folded bills and cards. That what we use and just bring it into the water with us. We also have a waterproof camera that we don't leave behind. I wouldn't bring a phone unless one of you is always going to be on shore.
