LSKC Posted March 14, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2018 Can you pre-book your specialty restaurants ahead of sailing or does everyone have to wait until boarding to try and get reservations at the specialty spots they want to try? I'd much rather do this pre-trip and pick the nights we do it. We are looking at booking just a concierge level balcony stateroom and want to buy the 3 or 4 night specialty dining package. Food is of high priority to us when we travel (LOL)... mostly because we rarely dine out at home with 3 kids and very busy schedules. What if anything can you pre-book and at what day can you do so (i believe with NCL it is 90 days prior to sailing they open up these things for booking)? Is it the same for shows/performances/shore excursions, etc? Thanks.
jelayne Posted March 14, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2018 If you purchase a dining package on-line you will select either night 1 or 2 and a time for the first dinner when you buy the package; the restaurant is assigned. The remaining dinners can only be booked when you board the ship. At that time you can change the night, time and restaurant of the first dinner. When you board the ship there is a staff member taking speciality dining reservations, there are also staff outside the OV cafe making dining reservations. Mac4YYZ Posted March 15, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2018 Don't wait too long too book. Everything booked up quickly on my recent cruise on Equinox. The sushi place is great if you like that sort of thing.
NantahalaCruiser Posted March 15, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 15, 2018 Recommend the 4-night rather than the 3-night - 4th night only costs $16 more.
