jamesnnb Posted March 17, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2018 Is there a special section at the Pier 91 Terminal for Elite/Suite (like at San Pedro) while waiting to board?
moki'smommy Posted March 17, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2018 Each place we have boarded a Princess ship, there has been a special waiting area. I've never boarded Princess at Seattle, but I wouldn't expect it to be any different. At some ports it was a roped off area rather than a enclosed waiting room but still a "special area." earlydiner Posted March 17, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2018 Gone out of pier 91 on both Princess and RCI. Yes there are the platinum/elite lines. Last time, however, the general line was much quicker so that is where we ended up. This port is very efficient on both embarkation and disembarkation. AF-1 Posted March 17, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2018 Ditto the above post. Sailed out of Pier 91 last summer. Efficient, easy to get your bags to the porters and on your way thru security. Once past security and over to the check in there are the elite and regular lines. Suite and elite guests have a coffee and pastry waiting area
Pierlesscruisers Posted March 17, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 17, 2018 The Pier 91 waiting area is a lot smaller than many other ports and thus the Elite/Platinum waiting area is somewhat limited but yes, there is such an area. The corresponding check-in area is the first check-in area you'lll see after you exit out of the security area once you get upstairs. Check-in usually begins about 10:30am and boarding normally begins at 11:30am although on very rare occasions it may those times may be delayed a bit. We got held up once for a few hours there as they looked for some foreign nationals on board. Turned out their English was so poor they didn't understand the constant calls for them. Miss pronouncing their names didn't help.
