late embarking question

We are on Journey this July, embarking in Edinburgh and remaining there the following day.

My question is: will muster be that day or the day we actually set sail (the next day) AND what is the latest we can arrive to port and get on the ship the first day?

We have a long drive across Scotland after leaving a relative's summer home and would like to know what the latest we can get there. We know we can't possibly miss the ship since it stays overnight, but didn't know if there was a certain time everyone had to be aboard.

Thanks in advance. Looking forward to our first AZ experience.

Should not be a problem. We did similar on Quest several years ago in Leith. Had a day-long excursion day of embarkation and the following day. We let Azamara know by email and we embarked at 8PM. No problem. The crew briefed us on muster procedures the day of getting underway.
