Hearing on another board that the Horizon left 15 people stranded yesterday.

 

Any truth or information? Sounded like they were on a private excursion but don't have any real information.

When we did the Vista in Europe, some skipped the overnight Rome to Naples on purpose. Somewhat makes sense. You can take a bag with you, grab a cheap hotel, and then explore Rome nightlife and then take a bullet train to Naples and hop back on board the next day.

I read on another blog that they were on their own private tour and that an accident closed the route to the port. That they had called the ship and informed that they were stuck. So ship left them and they would meet ship in Rome. Also that the tour people would help them with a hotel an drive them the next day to Rome. I guess that can happen to anyone.
