Walk from Embassy Suites to Water Taxi in Ft Lauderdale

Anyone done this before? Any reason besides weather we shouldn't try this? Looks Like about 2/3 mile walk which physically wouldn't be a problem.

It isn't a problem at all. Just walk under the bridge.

 

Have fun and make sure you stay on the water taxi after dark, the views are unbelievable!

Done it several times. Easy.

Yip. Easy 3/4 of a mile!

 

Stop 6 is under the bridge as shown below

 

 

And here is the walk from the Embassy Suites. You can stay on the hotel side most of the way but I think the north side of 17th is a bit more interesting.

If you’re in need of adult beverages by the bottle, Total Wine (beer and liquor too) is in the same shopping center and cheaper than Publix.
