RNELL Posted April 29, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 29, 2018 How was embarkation? Our arrival time is 12:30, I am not sure whether to get there early or just come at our scheduled time.

Our arrival time is 12:30, I am not sure whether to get there early or just come at our scheduled time. 12:30 is right at the "sweet spot" where you can expect to come, check in, and board with virtually no waiting in line for anything. If you show up early, don't be more than 30 minutes early! Too early and you'll just be standing around and waiting.
RNELL Posted April 29, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 29, 2018 I will arrive around noon. Thanks for the info.

NJ Gal Posted May 29, 2018 #15 Share Posted May 29, 2018 Just another question--does the Magic have an indoor pool?
gometros Posted May 30, 2018 #16 Share Posted May 30, 2018 Just another question--does the Magic have an indoor pool? No. All pools are on deck 9 and are outdoors.
Crazy Piglet Posted May 31, 2018 #17 Share Posted May 31, 2018 I don't believe there is a formal night on a 5 day, hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Don't worry about a jacket for DH, unless he likes dressing up.
oufpat Posted June 3, 2018 #18 Share Posted June 3, 2018 Is there a Pirate Night on a 5 night cruise?
moki'smommy Posted June 3, 2018 #19 Share Posted June 3, 2018 There is a pirate night on cruises of at least 3 nights. There is not a formal night on cruises less than 7 nights. There is a "dress up optional" night. The photographers will do family photos in whatever clothing you consider appropriate. There is no covered pool. No need for a jacket for men. ivanp91 Posted June 13, 2018 #20 Share Posted June 13, 2018 There is a pirate night on cruises of at least 3 nights. Alaska is one example of a destination that will not have a Pirate Night on any itinerary due to local regulations regarding fireworks. Freezing the Night Away is offered in lieu of it. I'm unsure but presume some of the Northern European cruises would be the same.
STHCruising Posted June 13, 2018 #21 Share Posted June 13, 2018 The Northern European cruises had the Frozen themed even in lieu of fireworks last summer.
moki'smommy Posted June 13, 2018 #22 Share Posted June 13, 2018 where did you cruise?how was a 5 day as compared to a 7 day? Formal night is on cruises of 7or more nights. THere is a "dress up optional" night on shorter cruises. And "formal" night isn't very formal any more.
