Points, How soon are they added?

We have been back from a cruise for about a month and I noticed our points have not been added and I am wondering how long it takes or when I should contact them letting them know.

We cruised in February and didn't get credit for the longest time. I contacted carnival and apparently they made us a new VIFP profile (not sure how, it had the right number on the card). But they had to combine the profiles and then it showed up. So I would contact Carnival. This happened to a lot of people on our sailing

We moved up to platinum on our last cruise. It took about 1 week for them to stop sending me e mails saying I was gold and should book another cruise to become platinum!

I called them after the first e mail like that.

I would never have waited a whole month.

Make sure your card had your correct VIFP number. Last cruise got all my perks so didn’t check until I get an email congratulating me on moving up to red!

Turns out I booked without my middle name.

The call center took care of it.
