Travel converter and adapter for France, Ireland, and Netherlands

You will actually need two different adaptors., one for the continent and the other for Ireland. The one used on the continent has two round prongs (and sometimes a third ground). In Ireland they use the standard UK plug which is somewhat unique (you might want to look at a picture on the internet). It uses 2 horizontal flat prongs and 1 vertical prong. As others have said, you can find adaptors and kits of adaptors at places like Walmart or you can simply order a set online from Amazon or other such places. The European power is 230 Volts (and usually 50 cycles). Nearly all laptop, phone and tablet chargers can handle 230 Volt but its always wise to check. The specifications should be on the adaptor (it can be hard to read without a magnifying lens) and will usually say 100 - 240 V.
