maryland Posted May 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2018 There are 3 of us travelling. Have a cabin on hold with a sofa bed. Was wondering if the sofa bed will be kept as a sofa during the day and then made up into the bed at night? Can't imagine having it as a bed all day! There is a cabin with an upper berth, but we prefer the location and balcony size of the one with the sofa bed more. Thanks
TeaBag Posted May 19, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 19, 2018 (edited) Yes, the bed will be made up each day, so you can use it as a sofa. Edited May 19, 2018 by TeaBag

BlueLobster Posted May 19, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 19, 2018 On the Silhouette, there's also a trundle pull out bed under the sofa in certain balcony rooms. We've stayed with 4 people (2 adults and 2 20-something "kids") twice like that. 1 slept on the sofa and one on the trundle. It was fine.

MightyMike Posted May 19, 2018 #6 Share Posted May 19, 2018 We are a family of three as well. We booked a room with both a ceiling bed and sofa bed so we can figure out which works best.
GACrusin Posted May 20, 2018 #7 Share Posted May 20, 2018 We traveled on the Reflection for a 14 day cruise a few years ago with our teenage son. He ended up being good with sleeping on the sofa without pulling the bed out. The steward would put sheets on it with blankets daily and we'd just fold them up in the morning. He was comfortable. Of course....a teenager can usually sleep anywhere, on anything!
