E311 on Island/Coral Princess--Noise from Wheelhouse Bar?

We are currently booked in E311 Obstructed Oceanview cabin on Island Princess SB Voyage of the Glaciers on July 18. We like the proximity to the front decks and Promenade deck but are wondering if we may hear noise from the Wheelhouse Bar. We're considering paying to upgrade to standard Oceanview today-tomorrow. Any input will be greatly appreciated!

I cannot imagine you'd have any noise from the Wheelhouse as you are really more above the walkway in front of the bar than you are directly up above it.

I would actually be a little more concerned about scooters or carts running into the exterior wall in that cabin as it sticks out where the hallway turns. We've been on the end of a row of cabins before and we could always hear the room steward's cart hitting up against the wall on the other side of our cabin. It won't be continuous, though ... we just noticed it in the morning hours. We were not in our cabin in the evening hours. Might be the same for those on a scooter, though ... again, not a continuous noise, just a bump against your wall here and there.

You should be fine up there. We were in E328, right above the stage. Music wasn't too bad (shook floors and furniture) but the singer was off key most of the time. VERY loud until about 11 or so and maybe one night until midnight.

Thank you for the input and good food for thought for the future! Turns out there was a very nice fare drop so we were able to upgrade to an Oceanview for $48 total! That was a no-brainer for us ;)
