OASIS Diamond Balcony Discount??

Recommended Posts

Tonight I added our son, also Diamond, to our ( myself & hubby's ) Balcony room. We're Booked on the Oasis in August.

I guess as the 3rd person he doesn't receive the Diamond Balc Disc?? Just wanted to check with you guys to be sure!

Thanks,

:) Bobbi

The balcony discount is per stateroom, and is split between the first two guests. More guests in the stateroom does not increase the discount.

Just an FYI, but balcony discounts are the same on all ships

When they split the discount, you get an extra $ from rounding ($226).:D

Which is more than lost because they add the balcony discount before they compute the fake discount.

Bob, not necessarily the case. For instance, booked Harmony for Easter 2020 and the pricing for the 2nd Pax with the 50% promo is as follows for a CP cabin:

Cruise fare: 1,627

BD (113)

50% (878)

Taxs 125

Total 761

In essence the 50% works to a discount of 58% net of the BD. 54% discount if based on the cruise fare. Cannot figure out how RCL calculates, unless there's some other promo discount that is not advertised.

Not complaining at all.:D

I don't get the $878 discount, but I would not complain about it!
