Any suggestions of guidebooks, fiction or non fiction that you found useful as background preparation for the cruise?
kochleffel Posted May 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 28, 2018 Oh! A new edition of the Rick Steves guide to Scandinavian and northern European cruise ports is to be released on August 21, but that is probably too late for you. The current edition is dated 2015. Eartha Kitten Posted May 29, 2018 #6 Share Posted May 29, 2018 Julianna from Dancing Bear recommended the Massey biography of Peter the Great. I also read the one on Catherine the Great. If you are looking for fiction about Russia, then Russka is enjoyable. Sent from my iPad using Forums
