Dizneydreamer_PA Posted May 29, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 29, 2018 Just be aware that Disney (along with Universal and Sea World) are a good hour away from the port- without any traffic.
HusemanCruzer Posted May 30, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 30, 2018 There is a FANTASTIC restaurant at the port called Grills where you can watch Cruise Ships sail away. Great food too!

SteerageJoe Posted May 30, 2018 #8 Share Posted May 30, 2018 Yes, KSC and Orlando theme parks are the best known shore trips for visiting cruise ships but many passengers also enjoy nearby active and/or nature excursions. It depends on what you are looking for. How to plan your day also depends on the time you have and when your ship arrives (I assume you are asking about a port-of-call and not a departure?) Here is a comprehensive Guide to Port Canaveral Shore Trips, including tips for KSC to help optimize your visit.
