We were at the far end terminal as well!

Another tradition of mine, I always get a photo of the first time I see the ship. I've sailed out of Miami 5 times and love that first glimpse of the ship coming over that bridge. Enchantment will be in Port Canaveral when I see her. I'll be in Miami next April and will be using the new terminal at the far end. Enjoy. BTW, its hot and rainy here in Ohio right now.

Following! We sail Enchantment next Friday, same route! And thanks people, for the Uber info. We’ve never done Uber, but are thinking about it, from the port to MIA to catch our flight.

Uber was great! The app didnt want to work at first, but once it did, was smooth sailing!

We are staying in an interior room this time , stateroom 8555. It is right under the pool deck. Yes we could hear a little noise above but nothing that kept us awake at night. I meant the other far end, away from the basin near the ocean. Symphony will be going from the new terminal you may have seen as you were departing I should have suggested you get a photo!

The 1st night ended with dinner in the Windjammer and then we attended the Welcome Aboard show in the Orpheum Theater. Here are some ramdom pics from our first day, yesterday. Hello Cococay! Gorgeous weather today calm seas makes for a wonderful day. We also could see Norwegian at their private island Great Stirrup Cay. Im including some pictures of the pier being built as well. Wow, that's a lot of work done since I was there last Sept. I'm hopeful it will be ready for me on Sept 18.

So glad you got to enjoy a beautiful day in Cococay. We had to skip it on our May 28 Adventure cruise. The waters were to rough to tender in. I was so disappointed as I had splurged and booked a bungalow for our family. Oh well. Next time.

Formal night! We went to the main dining room specifically for the duck and it did not dissapoint! Had the lobster bisque for appetizer, the duck for main course, and the peach sugar free shortcake for dessert. Absolutely amazing! After dinner was the Captain's toast and meeting of some of the crew. The captain is Nils Hoeydal. They also recognized the cruiser on board who had the most cruise points. Super Mario!! Determined to get a pic with him tomorrow. :). Also went to the production show Cant Stop the Rock. Was our first time seeing the show and it was really good! We started at the port at 8:45. We found out that they had overbooked the excursion. We were taken around the island in an air conditioned bus so they know how many seats, but i guess that would make sense right? Here are a few random pics from the drive. Loving your review! We sail on the Enchantment in February out of Port Canaveral. It will be our 1st cruise with Royal Caribbean, so I'm particularly loving all your photos! Thanks for posting pics of menus, too!
