Recent internet on Sapphire Princess?

How has the internet been on the Sapphire Princess in Batlics/Europe? It looks like we still have the old internet plans and not the fast internet on this ship.

We always go on Princess.com first to see how it is running then only use our precious minutes if it's speedy. Has worked for us on lots of cruises.

In May, I had a lot of trouble staying connected from my cabin, but much better in public areas.

Usually the signal inside the cabin can be greatly improved by propping the door to the hallway open using the trash basket or a Princess coupon book.

When we were onboard in May my connection in the cabin was so slow and kept dropping. As I need it for business purposes I had to take my laptop into a public area and reception was then good.

We were on the Sapphire Princess a couple weeks ago and used the ship computers. Unfortunately there were several times where the Internet was down for a half hour or more at a time. There were many unhappy people. Sometimes the Internet speed was good and other times slow. We had a hard time using the minutes we had prepaid for.
