We are thinking of booking the Rivera leaving from Miami on Tuesday March 26th 2019. We would stay in Miami the night before Monday March 25th. We are concerned as the Miami Ultra Music festival starts on Friday the 29th. Should we have any problem at all with the festival .... apparently it is huge

We were in South Beach last year and were faced with the double whammy of Ultra AND Spring Break.

Good news: Great people watching!

Bad news: Unending amplified music consisting solely of "thumpa thumpa thumpa thumpa thumpa thumpa thumpa thumpa thumpa thumpa thumpa thumpa thumpa thumpa....."

Where is the festival located or is various locations?

We stayed at the IC one year there was a concert in the park near there

so we prefer the Hampton Inn Brickell it is a quiet location

Ultra is in numerous venues all over Miami and South Beach.

Then people may not be able to find a quiet place to stay :D

They had a big concert at Bayfront park & you could hear it in the hotel

Greetings from South Beach Everyone. Last year, during Ultra, we arrived at Terminal J at around noon to board Regent's Explorer. There was nothing going on at the time. The trip was uneventful and we live twenty minutes from Port of Miami. In any case, passengers have to be on board much earlier than Ultra fans get moving. In our recent experience, construction causes most traffic delays here.
