Disembarkation luggage handling question

We're disembarking in Vancouver and will be using taxi service to our hotel. Does anyone know if Princess offers the option of placing one's bags outside their door for the luggage to be removed from the ship and held in the secure area for passengers who are not going directly to YVR but do not wish to carry all their luggage off the ship?

Yes they do

I believe all luggage set outside your cabin is delivered to the same secured area, regardless of your next destination. I don't believe Vancouver offers an EZCheck option since it's not a domestic port.

Luggage taken from the halls the night before disembark are all taken to a big room and grouped by tag number. You do have to pick up that luggage before leaving the terminal - it isn't in a secure area you can access later. If you want to store your luggage for a while you can take it up the elevator to the Pan Pacific hotel and there is a storage area next to hotel checkin. My understanding is there are other places to temporarily store luggage near the terminal but you need to check on the Vancouver board.

When we took a one day coastal up to Vancouver they did not allow you to check luggage at the curb. Everything was carry on and carry off. But the Alaska cruises follow the normal procedure of either putting luggage out overnight or carrying it all with no help in the morning.
