eliana Posted July 8, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2018 Can anyone suggest how to resolve this. We are sailing on Regent next year, not for the first time, and have some onboard credits, mainly as NCL shareholders. We would like to use them for a pre-cruise hotel and transfers, but this has been refused by Regent. Help!
mrlevin Posted July 8, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2018 Sorry, can't use them until onboard. If you book excursions in advance (and pay for them in advance) you can "rebook" them onboard and get your money back; otherwise, no use of onboard credits in advance of being onboard. eliana Posted July 8, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted July 8, 2018 Thanks Marc, It's what I feared and makes sense, but I hoped someone has a way.
Rare RachelG Posted July 8, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 8, 2018 On board means just that—can only be used once onboard the ship.
rallydave Posted July 9, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 9, 2018 Plus Eliana, hotel prices are generally more than double what you can book yourself as Regent charges per person and not per room like most hotels do. Transfers are also really expensive and you can save close to half by doing them yourself or simply taking a taxi. Have a nice cruise.
