The card I used to book my cruise was stolen therefore the CC company will issue a new card with a different number. How big a problem will it be to work with RCCL in advance to switch the card for check in?

Not a problem. You can even change it at the pier.

No problem at all, just change the credit card in your online check-in section.

You can make the change at check-in. It just takes a couple of extra minutes. It happened to me once and it was no problem. (I'm assuming all charges on the old card have cleared.)

Any "outstanding charges" will automatically go to your new card....no worries!

 

And it's NOT a problem to change cards...do it when you board, and check in.
