KatRangoon Posted July 11, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 11, 2018 MSC does, but it's WAY more expensive than the 3rd party insurance. We used insuremytrip and found a much cheaper rate.

mvh Posted July 12, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 12, 2018 MSC does, but it's WAY more expensive than the 3rd party insurance. We used insuremytrip and found a much cheaper rate. We always use 3rd party. The cruise lines are way too expensive and they are looking out for their own interest as well. We have made claims with AIG and Allianz with no issues. deliver42 Posted July 12, 2018 #6 Share Posted July 12, 2018 They are much more expensive than even the other cruise lines, especially if you are over 70. Buy 3rd party insurance.
LadyVol1 Posted July 12, 2018 #7 Share Posted July 12, 2018 And even if you have a credit card that includes trip and travel protection (like Chase Sapphire Reserve and Citi Prestige), be sure to buy medical insurance since most US policies don’t cover outside the US. I have credit card coverage but still pay ~$50 for my husband and me for medical and evacuation coverage on a 14-day cruise. I find the best deal on squaremouth.com. Issyalex Posted July 13, 2018 #9 Share Posted July 13, 2018 Don’t buy the ships insurance as it will be very expensive. Buy your insurance online but make sure it includes cruise insurance.
